Serving as the 2012 Grand Marshal is
Brooklyn Netto, a past recipient of Scott's Wish.
Brooklyn is 5 years old and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when she was 3 1/2. She went through treatment for the past 2 1/2 years and just learned a couple of weeks ago she is finished with her chemotherapy and we are all praying her next test will reveal her cancer is gone! Brooklyn lives in Prairieville with her brother Noah, her best friend and biggest encourager. Although quite shy, she loves cooking, helping in the garden, drawing pictures of her family, and recently started gymnastics and loves it. Brooklyn is fascinated with animals. She is hoping to get a beagle puppy for her birthday in April, so they can go exploring in the woods together and bring it to the parade next year!
